Living in Indonesia, AC is critical to keep you and your family comfortable at home. However, your Ac will not operate properly if you install it wrongly. That is why you need to learn these tips before installing your new AC.

1. Breezy air from your AC should not blow into your body directly. The cold air can make you hard to breathe and turn your skin dry. Thus, you want to avoid installing AC facing the couch, bed, and the spot you usually do your activities.

2. Problematic AC units often marked by leaking on the indoor unit. To avoid short circuits, do not place electronic devices under your AC.

3. Some AC owners cover their units to match the theme of their room. This can affect the performance of your AC even broken because of the dampness and leakage. Thus, make sure every side of your is not covered with anything.

4. While installing your AC, you need to take care of the space between the unit and the ceiling. Your AC needs at least a 15cm gap from the ceiling. The reason is, your AC sucks warm air through its top side before it blows cold air inside your room.

5. Pay attention to the installation of your pipe. The pipe that connects the indoor and outdoor units should not be bent more than three times. More bends can block the flow of your Freon. This will make the air from your AC becomes not as cool.

6. You want to choose a standard type of AC pipe. The standard pipe is at least 5m in length and as wide as 1.55mm.

7. When installing the outdoor unit, set the space with the wall. To have your air circulate fully, you need to set the gap between the wall and the front side of your unit at least 200cm, left and right side at least 30-50cm, and the top at least 30cm.
